The Neighborhood Church Collective is not THE Church for Austin, rather we are a church for a neighborhood.  More specifically, we are a church for the Olympic Heights, Villages of Shady Hollow and Tanglewood Oaks neighborhoods.

We seek to reveal the ultimate and full reign of Jesus Christ by truly loving and serving our neighbors.

The Neighborhood Church Collective is a micro-church in South Austin.  We are a community of believers and friends, united by our love for Jesus and each other, revealing Jesus Christ by loving and serving the neighborhood.

We are a diverse community of people working out what it means to follow Jesus.  We believe in the priesthood of all believers, which means there are no spectators.  Everyone is a minister with a part to play.  We are part of the historic Christian faith and willingly affirm the truth of its creeds.

While we don’t believe in the division between clergy & laypeople, we do believe that some are called to lead.  NCC’s ministry team is led by Terry Ishee.  NCC, then called Life Church Austin, began in 2008 in Terry and Amy Ishee's living room with 6 people experimenting with what the church could look like if it was stripped of its formality and simply focused on loving and serving the neighborhood in which we live.

We desire to be a community of disciples living on mission in order to reveal God's glory by making disciples. We are committed to living life with gospel-intentional rhythms and choose to be a people who do life together, pray for one another, bless everyone and commit to learn at the feet of Jesus.

We welcome all people and take a neighborhood approach to gathering as a church.  We gather each Sunday at 10:30am in the Olympic Heights and Villages of Shady Hollow neighborhoods.  All are welcome to join, whether you live in these neighborhoods or not.  Many who have called NCC their church have not lived here, but have simply been committed to taking what they have seen and learned here back to where God is calling them to love and serve.
