To be gospel-centered means to focus on Jesus, who He is and what He has done and not on who we are and what we have done or will do for God.The gospel is the good news about Jesus Christ who came "to seek and save the lost."
The gospel should continually shape our entire existence. How we speak, how we look at the world, how we think and reason should be filtered by Jesus' life and story.
"For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." -Luke 19:10
Pastor Justin Holcomb put's it this way, "Turning from sin and trusting in the good news that Jesus saves sinners isn’t merely a one-time inaugural experience but instead the daily substance of Christianity. The gospel is for every one, every day, and every moment."The gospel is for every one, every day, and every moment.
